Om oss
Intensivelight - det är Ulrich Kunst och Bettina Scheidulin. Vi bor i Västernorrland och jobbar som professionella fotografer och filmskapare i mer än tjugo år. Vi flyttade hit efter år av resandet eftersom vi blev kär i den fascinerande kulturen i norra Skandinavien och naturens vildhet. Nu får vi njuta av att filma och fotografera vilda djur nära vårt hem!
Våra teman är natur, djur och att berätta historier om människor som bor nära naturen. Båda har vi en konstnärlig bakgrund och älskar att leka med fotografins teknik. Ljus, tid och rörelse skapar nya bilder. Ljuset här i norra Skandinavien har sin egen magi: lysfyllda nätter runt midsommar, solskenets röda glans när vinterdagarna är korta, stjärnhimlen är enorm och ibland prydd av norrsken under de långa vinternätterna.
Utöver våra dokumentärfilmer och Fine Art prints tillhandahåller vi ett brett utbud av stock-fotografi, luftbilder, 4k och HD-footage för kommersiellt och personligt bruk. Du kan licensiera vårt arbete här eller exklusivt på Plainpicture och Pond5.
Vårt arbete har publicerats runt om i världen i böcker, reklamkampanjer och filmer. Bland de kunder som använder våra bilder är BBC, PBS och Pinewood Studios.
About us
Intensivelight – that's Ulrich Kunst and Bettina Scheidulin. We're a married couple living in Västernorrland in Sweden and we are working as professional photographers and filmmakers for more than twenty years. We moved here after years of traveling because we fell in love with the vibrant nature and fascinating culture of northern Scandinavia. Now we live in a wild and beautiful part of Sweden with deep forests and many creeks, lakes and rivers where we can enjoy filming and photographing wild animals near our home.
Our main subjects are nature and wildlife and to tell the stories of people living close to nature and their culture. Both having an artistic background, we love to play with the tools photography offers and to use light, time and motion to create new images. The light here in northern Scandinavia has its own magic: there are the golden nights around midsummer, the red glow of short winter days and the immense starry skies and green glowing northern lights of the long winter nights. You can find real tranquility in the wild and vast nature, hearing only the songs of birds, the humming of midges, the purling of water and the rustling of leaves when a moose or reindeer moves through the trees. Even time feels different here on the border to Lapland, the rhythm of life seems to be slower.
We do a lot of freelance work and fine art as well as documentary projects. Our work has been published around the world in books, advertising campaigns and in movies and commercials. Among the clients using our footage are the BBC, PBS and Pinewood Studios.
